A Little About My Journey

 I'm Natasha, and I'm a mother to 4 spirited children.  My family, along with our dogs, cats, and reptiles reside in Spruce Grove AB, where we have called it home for the last 12 years. I have lived all over our beautiful country, from as far east as Newfoundland, to west in BC, and up north in the    NT. Living all over the place, has given me 4 distinct births, and a lot of experience to think about what new families want in the birth room. 

I have been a practicing doula for over 10 years, and have worked in all Edmonton area hospitals, along with the local Lucina Birth Center, and home births. During my time as a doula, I have worked along side local midwives, in office to assist clients along their journey. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with over 500 pregnant and birthing families! I have experience working with Surrogetes, VBAC, Single, LGBTQ, Loss, and Multiples. As a teen mom myself, I specialize in teen pregnancy support, and am connected to a local non profit for families experiencing extra need during pregnancy.

I take my role as doula very seriously, and in doing so I am forever upgrading my skills.  I  have taken training through DONA, Stillbirthday University, and GK University. I have completed my Masters Rebozo with GKU. As a placenta specialist I am continuing my placenta arts education with APPA and have trained with PBiU in 2009. I also have my Blood Bourne Pathogens certificate updated yearly.

Natasha was absolutely wonderful! We were well acquainted with her, as we attended her birthing course (which I also recommend!), and she definitely had us feeling safe and at ease before the big day. While I personally didn't need need much during labour and delivery, she was amazing at helping my husband help me. My husband was my primary support, holding my tumbler up for me to sip, putting a cool cloth on me, holding the bucket when I felt nauseous. But he never left my side, so it was Natasha grabbing these things to refill/rinse out for him.

Natasha is worth her weight in gold. She does it all, from prenatal classes, to labour and birth support, to placenta encapsulation post-delivery. But don't take my word for it... Hire her and see for yourself how great she is!
